Mistico Hanging Bridges is located close to Arenal Lake’s Dam, in a 250 hectare (618 acre) reserve of primary forest. This is actually great, as you’ll be able to find centenary trees, really tall palm trees and a complex ecosystem that can only be found in this kind of forests.
Visitors who love nature and heights, can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, in rainforest circuit of about 3,2km (1,99miles), built with paving blocks to prevent slipping.
These bridges are built of aluminum, galvanized steel and concrete, to ensure maximum security for visitors and were designed by structural engineers with the most demanding safety margins in the world.
Guided by a naturalist, you’ll open the doors of fascinating Tropical Rainforest world. Imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.

These waters warmed up by the volcano’s heat, are full of minerals and are considered a Nature’s healing gift, as they promote better blood circulation, relax you and provide many other benefits that will make you feel awesome.
At the end of the hike, a short drive of about 20 or 25 minutes will take you to the hot springs facility you’ve chosen, so you can relax in the pools and choose among the different temperatures the one that makes you feel better.
We recommend trying the hot water pools and then switching to a cold water pool, you can do this many times if you like. It will relax and restore your body in a surprising way. Enjoy the water, the jungle or gardens that surround you in this unique natural experience.
