Go white water rafting at the scenic Sarapiquí river for class II and III. The microbus 1½ hour journey starts with a scenic drive through the Eastern portion of central Costa Rica, traveling through the beautiful pineapple, papaya and yucca fields with Volcano Arenal set in the backdrop, landscapes that are almost a symbol of the region which for years haven been used for agriculture.
After a short safety briefing with local professional guides to familiarize yourself with your job as paddler the next step is heading down river and let the real adventure begin where generally a new environment for you will challenge your skills to conquer that rough water corp.
Rafting is an extreme adventure that will awake your senses. Adrenaline will be on top along the whole route giving you a experience that would be unforgettable, but don’t be afraid, guides are highly experimented and trained to handle these wild waters.
Also emergency and security plans are well designed to avoid any problem. Guides determine depending on the weather conditions whether is safe to run the river or not guaranting that you will have the most optimal river experience possible.
With the lush rainforest as backdrop you can expect 14 kilometres (about 10 miles), of unforgettable action and breathtaking nature. A stop mid way to “refuel” with refreshing tropical fruits is a very deserverd part of the trip. Adventure ends with cold drinks followed by a Costa Rican typical lunch.
